      9-mm SR.1M(GYURZA) SELF- LOADING PISTOL

    9-mm self-loading pistol is a new generation close-combat weapon concentrating in itself the latest achievements in design and technology of such small arms type. It is designed to defeat live targets including targets protected by armor vests at ranges of up to 100 m. Cartridges 9x21 mm (SP10, SP11) are used. It is blow-back operated with short recoil, locking and unlocking is performed by the bolt with swinging breech-lock.

    The trigger mechanism of hammer type with an open hammer of double action allows to shoot with combat or self-cocking. Feeding is performed by the spring from 18-round box magazine that is in the pistol grip. There are two automatic safeties. One of them is on the rear part of the grip that interlocking the sear, the other one is on the trigger interlocking it. Sight is fixed (front blade and rear notch). Pistol frame is made of polyamid with reinforcement. It allowed to considerably reduce the pistol weight and its cost.

Pistol structural features are as follows:

- two safety devices: one is switched on when a shooter clasps the grip, the other one is switched on when pulling the trigger before the shot. It ensures reliable safety when in operation and an instant readiness to shoot;
- quick throwing out the magazine form the grip and automatic chambering of the cartridge when changing the magazine;
- magazine latch design allows to unlock it by the finger of the hand clasping the grip;
- all control elements are ambidextrous;
- magazine of large capacity with two rows of cartridge stack;
- the availability of light points on the rearsight and the foresight for ensuring aimed fire in low lighting conditions;
- the stop with incision on the front part of trigger guide for better aimed fire from both hands;

The pistol is very reliable in all operational environment  from –50 ^oC  to +50 ^oC.
